Black hides the frame and lets the bottles read as the object. We do it in matte black coated stainless so the corners stay sharp.
What this one is
One page inside the by material and finish group — matte black stainless, not painted steel. What follows is how it meets the wall, how the rows are pitched, and what the drawing has to settle before anything is cut.
Where it goes
It stands on the floor, so the plinth carries the load and the wall only has to stop it tipping.
It is built into the joinery, flush with the surrounding panels.
It runs wall to wall, with the last module scribed to the plaster.
Bottle fit and cradle pitch
Capacity for this model runs 24 – 320 bottles. If your count sits outside that band, the band moves rather than the room: the module count and the cradle pitch are what change, not the finish or the frame.
What the drawing fixes

Before you order a black wine cabinets
Will matte black show fingerprints?
The micro-particle finishes do not. Flat matte lacquer does, which is why we default to MKF or MKW for black.
Black frame or black interior?
Black frame, warm interior. An all-black cabinet loses the bottles completely once the light is off.
