Design and Drawing
A custom cabinet has no size chart to fall back on, so the drawing is the product. Three sets of drawings are issued, and nothing goes to the laser until the third one is back with your confirmation on it.
The three drawings, in order
| Drawing | What it shows | What you check |
|---|---|---|
| Plan | Footprint, position in the room, door swing, vent zone | Does it fit the room and can you open the door? |
| Elevation | Front view with every dimension, bottle rows, frame sightline | Width, height, how many bottles per row |
| Structure | Carcass, cradle pitch, insulation, cooling position, service access | Cradle pitch against your bottles, and where the unit is serviced from |
How the dimensions get confirmed
You send three photos and a tape measure. We mark the dimensions onto your own photos and send them back — not a form, your photo with arrows on it.
That step catches most problems before they cost anything: a 20 mm bow in the wall, a column that is not where the plan said, a ceiling that drops 40 mm at one end. Each one has a different answer, and all of them have a cheap answer if we know before the panels are cut.
- Wall not straight → a scribe up to 40 mm, part of the build, not an extra.
- Ceiling raked → the top rail is cut to the measured line, row by row.
- Non-90° corner → a dedicated fold and a radius-cut cradle.
- Floor out of level → the base rail packs and the threshold covers the gap.
What comes back to you, and when
A 3D drawing within 48 hours of receiving usable dimensions. Production drawings follow the deposit, and they carry the drawer, door and vent positions that the installer will work to on site.
Every module is numbered on the production drawing. That numbering is what lets a two-person crew set a 4 m wall in a day, because the sequence is decided in the office rather than on site.

The questions that come up before an order
Is the drawing free?
Yes, up to the 3D drawing. Production drawings are issued with the order.
What if the room changes after the drawing?
Tell us before production. After cutting, a width change means new panels; a scribe usually absorbs small movements.
Do you need a site survey?
Usually not. Photos and a tape measure carry most projects, and a 3D scan file is better than both if you have one.

Send the wall and the bottle count
Three photographs and a tape measure is enough for a scheme, a finish direction and a price. The drawing fee covers the CAD and the visuals.
