Two years on parts. The reason it works is Embraco.

Warranty and Spare Parts

A warranty is a promise about a part you can actually get. That is why the compressor is an Embraco standard part rather than something we designed ourselves.

How a claim works

Send a photo and the serial number. If it is a part we stock, it ships by air inside a week. If it is the compressor, we will often ask a local engineer to source it and reimburse, because that is faster than shipping.

Labour is not covered. That is the industry norm and it is worth knowing before you compare warranties: a five-year warranty that requires the cabinet to return to China is worth less than a two-year one with local parts.

What is not covered

  • A cabinet installed in a position that blocks the plinth vent.
  • Damage from a power supply outside the specified voltage or frequency.
  • Cosmetic scratches and handling marks after delivery.
  • A cooling unit that failed because the room was not insulated, on a cellar build.

The spare we ship as standard

One spare controller goes in every cooled order. It is the part most likely to fail first, it costs us very little, and it turns a two-week international wait into a ten-minute swap.

Questions

The questions that come up before an order

Can I buy spare parts before something fails?

Yes — a controller, a fan motor and a door seal are all worth holding if the cabinet is in a remote location.

Does the warranty transfer?

Yes, with the cabinet. Keep the serial number with the property documents.

What is the serial number format?

It is on a plate inside the door frame and on the crate label, so it survives the packing being thrown away.

Three photographs and a tape measure is enough for a scheme, a finish direction and a price. The drawing fee covers the CAD and the visuals.
