Under-Counter Wine Cabinets

A cooled wine drawer that closes the gap under a worktop instead of leaving a 600 mm hole. Ventilation runs front to front through the plinth, so the cabinet can sit flush to the wall with no side clearance.

What this one is

One page inside the by room and position group — sits under the counter · vents through the plinth. What follows is how it meets the wall, how the rows are pitched, and what the drawing has to settle before anything is cut.

Where it goes

It is built into the joinery, flush with the surrounding panels.

It sits under the counter, sized to the run above it.

It is built with integrated cooling rather than a separate chiller.

Bottle fit and cradle pitch

Capacity for this model runs 12 – 46 bottles. If your count sits outside that band, the band moves rather than the room: the module count and the cradle pitch are what change, not the finish or the frame.

Depth is 560 – 600 mm. The measurement that matters is the bottle, not the cabinet: a Burgundy bottle lying forward needs more than a Bordeaux one, and a magnum row needs more again.

What the drawing fixes

Everything on the drawing comes back to four numbers: width 150 / 300 / 450 / 600 mm; height Under-counter, 820 – 900 mm to suit the worktop; depth 560 – 600 mm; capacity 12 – 46 bottles; lead time 30 – 40 days. Change one of them and it is a different cabinet, drawn again rather than stretched. Under-counter · Built-in · Front-vented are the mounting conditions this one is drawn for.

Questions

Before you order a under-counter wine cabinets

Does it need clearance at the back?

No. Air enters and leaves through the plinth grille at the front, so the cabinet sits against the wall and the worktop can be scribed tight to the frame.

Will it fit an existing 600 mm carcass gap?

Yes, and we build the drawer to the exact opening you measure rather than to a nominal size. If the opening is out of square we scribe the front frame, not the carcass.

Can the drawer face match my kitchen doors?

It can be stainless in any of our 63 surfaces, or a plain face you have wrapped by your kitchen supplier. We send the face as a separate part so both trades can work in parallel.
