Skin-Feel Matte Lacquer
Skin-Feel Matte Lacquer is one of the eight stainless finish families we hold in the factory. A 0.3 mm matte film over stainless. It reads as painted timber until you touch it, and then it reads as nothing at all — no gloss, no grain, no metallic flake.
What Skin-Feel Matte Lacquer is
A 0.3 mm matte film over stainless. It reads as painted timber until you touch it, and then it reads as nothing at all — no gloss, no grain, no metallic flake. It is a stainless steel wine cabinet finish, applied in the same workshop that folds the frame, which is why a code and a cabinet can be confirmed on the same drawing.
Where it works
- Modern kitchens with a flat, seamless door front.
- Colour-matching an existing joinery scheme to a RAL code.
- Anywhere the cabinet should disappear into the wall.
Where it does not
- High-traffic corners where a scuff will show as a lighter patch.
- A mirror-finish kitchen — the two sheens fight each other.
Care
Wipe with a damp cloth. Do not use an abrasive cream — matte film shows the polished spot it leaves behind.
