3D Faux Wood Grain
3D Faux Wood Grain is one of the eight stainless finish families we hold in the factory. Embossed grain with real depth under the lacquer. This is the one visitors mistake for veneer, and the one that survives a humid cellar where veneer would lift.
What 3D Faux Wood Grain is
Embossed grain with real depth under the lacquer. This is the one visitors mistake for veneer, and the one that survives a humid cellar where veneer would lift. It is a stainless steel wine cabinet finish, applied in the same workshop that folds the frame, which is why a code and a cabinet can be confirmed on the same drawing.
Where it works
- Feature cabinets where the timber is the point.
- Basements and cellars with humidity swings.
- Teak, walnut and oak tones without the maintenance of real timber.
Where it does not
- Very shallow embossing on a curved frame — the grain flattens at the fold.
Care
A soft brush along the grain. Never scrub across it.
